King Of The Hill Soundtrack!

I was so thrilled to get the call from Mike Judge and John Frizzell to play all the guitar on the new season of the TV show, King Of The Hill.

I know many of you are familiar with this animation classic and it’s one of my favorite shows of all time. As you can imagine, I’m super excited to be part of this soundtrack!

I proudly assembled some of our good friends and favorites for the acoustic band segments and the GT Trio did the electric band segments. I played electric and acoustic guitars on all of it as well as the little segues throughout the show.

John Frizzell was producing and some of the “acoustic” band members include Paul Franklin, Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, Mike Bub, Michael Cleveland and others. The GT Trio rhythm section features Jordan Perlson on the drums and cymbals and Tim Marks on the Fender four string bass. Billy Strings has the awesome closing song which was a different session. 

It’s definitely moments like these that make me feel like I’m truly living the dream! Nashville is the land of opportunity when it comes to music and this is a perfect example of that. I’m always honored to be on the short list and I’m feeling more grateful than ever!

I’m super excited that season 14 of King Of The Hill is out now and is #1 on Fox and Hulu and #1 in comedy and animation!
