The Guthrie Trapp Trio is a dynamic electric guitar driven band featuring genre bending original compositions.

Hailing originally from the Flora-Bama Gulf Coast, Trapp started playing music at 7 years old in a family rich with music. He’s been thriving in Nashville, TN for 23 years as a solo artist and session musician as well as an educator, having developed multiple world class instructional programs.

Guthrie’s extensive live performance, recording and collaboration credits include John Oates, Billy Gibbons, Dennis Quaid, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Jerry Douglas, Garth Brooks and many others.

This high-energy group features a stellar rhythm section that is Tim Marks on the Fender bass and Jordan Perlson on drums and cymbals. Both are masterful musicians whose recording credits include Taylor Swift, Luke Combs, Lionel Richie, Jewel, John Oates, Adrian Belew, Jeff Coffin and Alison Brown to name just a few.
