I’d like to personally thank my good buddy Andy

I’d like to personally thank my good buddy Andy for the VIP passes to the MoMA last week. We had a great time and it was so amazing to be in the same room as such iconic works of art by some of the greatest artists of all time. I think the biggest mind blower was the Frank Lloyd Wright scale model of a projected design plan for sunburban farm land in middle America. Truly a work of genius in my opinion. It is not in this group of shared photos here, but I’m sure you can look it up. Of course original Piccaso, Dali, Van Gogh, Pollock, Matisse, Monet and many others were astounding. If you’re in NYC I highly recommend a visit to the MoMA and all the other amazing museums that amazing city has to offer. The adventure continues! @themuseumofmodernart

The Trapps are in town and we’re about to shut it down for Turkey Day. But not without one last gig this week of course. Tonight I’ll be guesting at Analog with long time friends Dylan Altman, Jimmy Wallace, Nick Buda and Alison Prestwood. There will be some very special guests as well. NYC is a wrap! First post in a full week here. It’s always an amazing experience and most interesting adventure coming to the Big Apple. Every single time. We brought a stellar group of close friends and players up to play 3 sold out nights at the legendary Bitter End. Tom Bukovac, Jedd Hughes, Jimmy Wallace, Nick Govrik, Tim Marks and Jordan Perlson. Even “Young” Tom joined us on this one. This makes the 3rd time The GT Trio has played there this year. One of the highlights that surprised us all was an impromptu spoken word poem that Nicky G wrote to recite at the end of the very vibey tune Buk wrote called “Bitter End” that we closed the set with each night. It was epic. Thanks so much to all that helped make these such memorable nights for all of us. We will be doing it again soon sometime in 2025. It’s nothing but love at the Bitter End and we all really felt that even more this trip. Paul and the crew are the best and make us feel at home every time. More photos, videos and posts to come as I come up for air this week. It doesn’t get much better than this for us. We had a fun rehearsal yesterday to prepare for our three sold out nights in New York City at the Bitter End this week. Here’s a little clip of Tom’s awesome song, “Bad Cat Serenade”. There’s nothing more fulfilling than playing our own music with our closest friends. There’s no one telling you what to do and there’s no corporate pressure. We are doing it sheerly for the unrelenting passion and love for music and the experiences it brings. This is why we are all lifers and there is no plan B. Hell, we might have a chance in this business yet. These shows will feature a nice variety of material performed by Jedd Hughes, Tom Bukovac, Nick Govrik, Jimmy Wallace, Jordan Perlson, Tim Marks and myself. Presented in part by @dingo_1969.
